Wedding Ceremonies
Trenance Heritage Cottages are able to cater for intimate wedding ceremonies for up to 40 guests within our fully licensed function room.
Our function room (formally Rose Cottage) is a grade 2 listed building which was once one of the three 19th century original cottages in Trenance Gardens.
Set amidst beautiful gardens and scenery (and with the Trenance boating lake a short stroll away), our function room provides a unique wedding ceremony venue and alternative to a registry office.
Our ceremony package is perfect for those looking for an intimate ceremony venue and celebratory drink before moving onto their reception venue.
Our ceremony packages includes all the basic decoration in the cost, allowing you to allocate your wedding budget to other areas!
We don’t have a one size fits all approach to weddings. Instead we prefer to offer a laid back, do it your way kind of day, with your Trenance wedding experience tailored just for you. Our enthusiastic team of volunteers are on hand to support you throughout your wedding planning and will assist you and your guests on your big day.
No matter what your plans or ideas, we are happy to help you achieve a day that is personal just to you.
Renewal Of Vows
If you are already married, but are looking to renew your vows in an intimate ceremony then Rose Cottage is perfect.
Its taken many years to get the historic cottages renovated and refurbished, so we probably weren’t available for your ceremony first time round however, our beautiful premises are now available to renew your vows.
As you are already married, there is no need for any legal proceedings or registrars. You can plan your own ceremony and choose family or friends to lead it. However, as this is a special occasion, we are able to recommend celebrants who are able to hep you plan your celebration and who will carry out the ceremony for you.
Post ceremony, enjoy a celebratory glass of fizz on our patio before heading to one of the fabulous local restaurants for delicious celebratory meals close.
